The KidSmart program provides emergency snacks for students who show obvious signs of hunger during the school day, between the free breakfast and lunch that the district already provides.
Important: KidSmart is not a generic snack program for every student in the classroom. It is intended for the “emergency drawer” — when a child clearly needs food to help them focus, learn, and thrive.
